Celebrity Dad Dancing

Family Guy used this video to question their sexuality, but really isn’t this just Celebrity Dad Dancing, eighties style? (read on, after the video)

From David Bowie ‘walking like an egypt-i-a-n’ (at ~0.44s) to Mick Jagger performing ‘the swim’ (2.36) this video really has so many Dad Dancing elements I half expect the stars’ embarrassed daughters to enter the frame and pull at their Dad’s hands in a vain attempt to get them to leave the dance floor and go back to the bar.

Forget the fashion, was a leopard print jumpsuit ever fashionable? Or the ‘will they won’t they kiss?’ moment at 1:19, this is really all about the over enthusiastic ‘dance’ moves: The point and sweep (0.35), the karate punch (1.52) and the pogo (any sequence with Mick Jagger!) this video plays out like a great big Dad Dancing jamboree and I love it!
